Rahul Yadav founded Housing.com as an online E-commerce website which was started as a Mumbai based search portal. The company provides real estate properties to the customers all based on customers’ filters. The filter can be varied as per money, rooms, locations & much more. Later the company expanded their search portal to major metropolitan cities viz. Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Gurgaon and Delhi.
Who is Rahul Yadav?
Rahul Yadav is one of the co-founders and was the CEO of housing.com. Due to his irregularity with the Board of Director & the Indian media, he was being sacked by the Board of housing.com.
Rahul Yadav was the top scorer in the JEE exam for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) from his region. This gave him 75% of scholarship and admission in IIT-Bombay. During his days in IIT-B, he successfully brought up a blog on “exambaba” which provided question bank based on a previous paper for students. After an internship in Israel, he came to Mumbai and started building apps for Chrome. Later, Rahul Yadav dropped out in the final year and formed a website “housing.com” with his friends.
Well, he may have set some example, what after he did increase his coverage in India. He donated all his equity and shares to the employees of housing.com stating
“I’m just 26, and have all the opportunity waiting for me”.
Rahul Yadav wanted his company to be based on customer-based model insist of investor’s business model plans. While on one side, he acts as Batman of housing.com while on the other side failed to play his part.
Why was Rahul Yadav sacked of housing.com?
Rahul Yadav must be a young, dynamic entrepreneur — who brought up his business in fond of the betterment of the society. But in his chase of serving the society, he somewhere failed as the leader and also up to the level of CEO of the company. These are the things, Rahul Yadav did, which forced the board to sack him out of his company.
1. Created Chaos
During his conflicts with MD Shailendra Singh, his actions created chaos in the company. His abusive, threatening attitude set and the bad example to all employees of the company.
Rahul Yadav was also involved in controversies of openly writing “Dumb” Alok Kejriwal’s Facebook wall. Also, it was found that Alok’s Wikipedia page have tampered with false information, which would have ruined Alok’s reputation.
2. Lying to Media For Fun

3. Absurd Posts On Social Media: –
The irresponsible attitude of Rahul Yadav didn’t not only brought problem for Housing.com but also a danger to bring up a negative aura to the company’s name. He was also responsible for having the fun of his company’s board member openly in social media.
4. After Rahul Yadav Was Sacked
Even after Rahul Yadav was sacked from his own company he founded, he still doesn’t realize his own mistakes. He still continues to make his professional life to come out in social media, also making fun of others. Due to his immature attitude, not only let him out o the housing but also from his own house. After a month, Rahul Yadav was broken and as per his new post he stated.
“Only 45 days’ survival money left in a personal bank account — feeling Thrilling.”
Well on the other side, he claimed to come up with a better idea and guarantees to be back big times with 100x of formula. It’s hard to overcome with such challenges in life. But Rahul Yadav will have to overcome in a more mature way, after what he did when he was the CEO in housing.com.
