Bharat Operating System Solutions (BOSS) | An Indian OS Created To Protect India Cyberspace
India is progressing step-by-step. Again this would be a proud movement for every Indian. This has been official that Indian government is going to use its own operating system. And let allow every Indian to use this operating system. The name of the operating system is the BOSS (Bharat Operating System Solutions). The government of India has released this operating system on 10th January 2007.
This operating system is introduced to overcome the vulnerabilities of the government cyberspace. The reason to develop the operation is to protect from countless attacks by hackers.
BOSS is a Linux distribution. C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) developed this operating system with the help of Gujarat Technical University, DRDO, and some other private computer.
